Customer Responsibility
As a customer of The Shine Academy, it is your responsibility to read and understand all information provided on the booking page, including suitability requirements such as age and year group. By completing your booking, you confirm that your child meets the stated criteria.
While The Shine Academy will review bookings where possible, we cannot guarantee to verify the suitability of every booking. It remains the sole responsibility of the customer to ensure that their child meets the stated age and year group requirements.
Any errors made during booking are subject to our standard cancellation and refund policy outlined below.
Payment Terms
Full payment must be received at least 14 days before the start of the workshop, class, or exam. If payment is not received by this time, your child’s place may be offered to someone on the waiting list.
On-Site Workshops / Courses / Exams
If you need to cancel your booking, please email us at admin@theshineacademy.co.uk.
You will have the following options:
- 14 days or more before the start of a Holiday Course You will be offered either:
- A full refund less an administration fee (the lesser of 10% of the order value or£50).
- Less than 14 days before the start for Holiday and Term-Based Course of the workshop/course/exam:
Refunds, credit notes, and date changes cannot be given.
- bsences (non-attendance without notice) are not eligible for a refund or credit.
Illness and Absence
Once a place has been booked and confirmed, staffing, materials, and venue costs are committed in advance.
For this reason, we are unable to offer refunds, credits, date changes, or alternative sessions for missed classes or workshops due to illness, injury, or any other personal circumstances.
